Nina Davey
LCPC, ATR-BC, PMH-C, ACS, EMDRIA Approved Consultant
Nina Davey is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Registered, Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), and holds a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). Nina has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
Nina is a Certified EMDR Therapist and an Approved EMDR Consultant. She uses a variety of treatment modalities through a trauma-informed perspective, including Art Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, and Sand Tray Therapy.
Nina has extensive training in trauma (PTSD) and childhood abuse and has a particular interest working with women’s issues around Perinatal and Postpartum support. Nina is an Approved Credentialed Supervisor (ACS) for LGPC clinicians as well as an Approved Supervisor for Art Therapists.
Sarah Sloane Donovan
LCPC, RYT, EMDRIA Approved Consultant
Sarah Donovan(she/her) is a licensed mental health therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience, specializing in perinatal mental health and EMDR in Maryland. She is a certified EMDR practitioner, an EMDR consultant-in-training, a Perinatal Specialist, a clinical supervisor, and a registered yoga teacher.
Sarah is the founder of Tilted Root a practice dedicated to supporting women and couples navigating the challenges of parenthood, burnout, anxiety, and trauma. Tilted Root’s mission is to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and validated throughout all stages of a woman’s life.
A passionate advocate for empowering women, Sarah believes that understanding cutting-edge scientific knowledge allows individuals to define womanhood on their own terms, free from societal or cultural limitations.
She is excited to share her expertise on the intersection of Perinatal Mental Health and EMDR, providing fellow clinicians with practical, transformative tools to enhance their therapeutic work with this population.
