Demystifying Dissociation: Practical Techniques for Treating Dissociation

The focus of this course will be on helping clinicians assess and treat dissociation. Topics that will be covered include dissociative assessments from intake questions to standardized measures. Psychoeducation and skills to facilitate inner collaboration and cooperation. Techniques for working directly with parts and skills to set up and facilitate trauma processing.
The course will be delivered in 12 modules. Each module will have a new skill and each module will build upon the previous so that people are learning in smaller segments since this is a complex population.
Presenter Bio:
Laura Evenglow is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and CEO of Triumph Center. She maintains a private practice focused on delivering intensive therapy to help adults who suffer from, Dissociative Disorders, Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Attachment Wounding. Laura began her career journey 17 years ago with a focus on helping individuals recover from addiction. She quickly learned that trauma underlies most addictive processes. Since then, she has dedicated herself to learning how to effectively treat trauma and dissociation. Her passion is training other therapists how to navigate the complexities of the World of Dissociation
