Course Description: This course is designed to provide employees with basic information about conflicts of interest and how to avoid them. It will define precisely what a conflict of interest is and describe different types of conflict of interest. This course also reviews the consequences to agencies caused by conflicts of interest and agency procedures to avoid them. In addition, it will provide behavioral health professionals with strategies to avoid both actual and perceived conflicts of interest.
