Course Description:
This course is based upon material published by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences as part of their worker training program.
The source document is a short fact sheet that is direct and simple. This course is designed primarily for the agencies with which we work, as a way to educate their employees in best practices during this pandemic. As a result of the length of the training, it is not offered for CE credit. The course provides very basic information about COVID-19, the symptoms associated with it and ways one can protect oneself in the workplace. The course materials also include public health information regarding safer cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting strategies that will also help to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 as well as other viruses and communicable diseases.
