This recorded webinar will provide attendees with an overview of the main ethical issues facing Behavioral Therapists in the twenty first century. Strategies for avoiding problems will be presented. This webinar helps clinicians understand the process of developing a sense of ethics with our field and goes on to identify common areas for ethical mistakes and dilemmas. The webinar is easy to follow and provides excellent case examples. This webinar also identifies common rationalizations that clinicians make when acting in an unethical manner.

Intended Audience: Psychologists, social workers, mental health counselors and marriage and family therapists can benefit from this course. This course may also be helpful for other practitioners, such as midwives, dieticians and nutritionists who also need continuing education in the area of ethics and who need to practice the principle of confidentiality.  Most states that require continuing education courses for licensed professionals require ethcis courses. This course is appropriate for beginning and intermediate level practitioners who wish to learn about ethics, confidentiality and legal issues
